So sorry for your loss. We will be thinking about you. I know what a horrible time this is - it's just the worst saying goodbye to our best friends.

Oh dear, I am so very sorry Marie. Why do they live such short lives? It must be to teach us something, but that is some learning I could do without, except that without death we would not have such cherished lives. Cherish the memories, they will live on forever. The pain will, too, but the pain is worth the memories - don't ever think otherwise! She was worth the heartache, I am sure. Sweet little face she had! I wish I had known her.

I am so sorry, Marie. :[

certain immortality, never fully
understanding the necessary plan."

M,

When my precious Bauer passed away, someone posted this on our blog...

“We who choose to surround ourselves
With lives even more temporary than our own,
Live within a fragile circle-
Easily and often breached.
Unable to accept it’s awful gaps,
We would still live no other way .”

I was forever altered by the loss of Bauer. I know you saw that. I have lost human friends that didn't hurt me as badly as that. I hope that doesn't seem crazy, but I can't help it. I'm sure it makes sense to you and your devoted readers.

I loved the Moo. She was such a snuggly, little snorty buddy. She made the most fabulous noises and was so wonderfully Velcro in her nature.

What a pleasure to have her in my store when she visited! What a lovely spirit! She was always noble. alot like Mr. B...even when sick, carried herself with dignity and grace. What a LADY!

When I pray tonight, I will ask Bauer to watch over her...he won't let anyone knock her over or steal her snacks.

I miss you and I will certainly pray for you and your family during this difficult time.

It is such a loss that only time can mend. But it is always a new start when the end comes.

Godspeed.
